Although demography is not destiny, the main drivers of financial health and wellbeing are when you are born and enter the job market, your race and ethnicity, and how much education you have. As we raise the first generation to live shorter, poorer lives than their parents, it’s important to understand these drivers and why millennials should expect a financial future that’s different from their parents. At the other end of the spectrum, how can we address the financial realities for the growing number of retired Americans?  What are the implications of the nation’s changing demography given today’s financial realities?
